Our Mission
Most publications don't trust young people to write about serious topics. They want “student perspectives” on surface-level issues, not deep dives into policy or philosophy.
We think that's backwards. Young people are living through climate crisis, political polarization, and social upheaval—why shouldn't they write about it seriously?
The Journal for Youth Voice publishes student writing that deserves to be read, not just because it's written by students, but because it's good.
